The Our Lady of Grace Council is part of a brotherhood that is over 2 million men strong with over 16,000 Councils worldwide.
The Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney. Father McGivney was Beatified on October 31, 2020.
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic Fraternal service organization with over 2 million members. We were founded on the principles of charity, unity, and fraternity. There is no better way to experience love and compassion than by helping those in need.
We empower men to live their Faith at home, in their parish, at work, and in their community. Knights recognize that our missions and our faith in God, compel us to action.
Knights put their faith into action every day to make life better in our parish and community. We offer men the opportunity to grow their own faith while helping others and supporting the church, and to become better Catholics, husbands and fathers.
We are making a difference. We can continue to grow and expand our charity giving with your help. We need your input and ideas to help us do more.
The Our Lady of Grace chapter of the Knights of Columbus was established on the 4th of December 2019.
Membership in the Our Lady of Grace chapter of the Knights of Columbus is open to any parishioner who is over 18, male, and a practicing Catholic. The Knights meet on the third Thursday of every month at the OLG School.
Our OLG Council has been very successful and impactful this past year:
Brother James Ness organized a parish pilgrimage to the Shrine of St John Neumann. Brothers Ed Ramsay, Bob Griggs, and James Ness pose for a photo with the Very Reverend John Kingsbury (Father Jack), Director of the Shrine and also a Brother Knight.

Big shout out to one of our long time residents, George Krushauskas and one of our former Penndel Police Officers John Sentell. Their initiative, along with support from the Knights of Columbus, in organizing CPR/AED training for Our Lady of Grace School and Church staff demonstrates their commitment to community safety.
George K. approached Monsignor Prior about purchasing AEDs for the church and school after witnessing a medical event during church services and followed through with the idea by organizing this training.
Officer Hansel from Langhorne Borough Police and Officer McAnlis from Penndel Borough Police, who are both CPR/AED instructors, were honored to pass on their years of knowledge to train this valuable skillset to the staff at OLG. Chief Perry and Chief Godzieba both appreciate giving back to the communities that they serve, especially when it could potentially save a life down the road.
Our gratitude also extends to the owner and management from the Penndel Dunkin Donuts for generously supplying food and refreshments for the class.
The Knights from Our Lady of Grace, the brother Knights from councils in District 16, friends, family and some help from Holy Ghost Prep contributed to packing over 53,000 meals for those in need this morning. 90% of the meals will support those in need internationally. The other 10% will help out those in need in Bucks County and Philadelphia.
The OLG Council's efforts in "Keep Christ in Christmas" and "Leave No Neighbor Behind" received both the National and Pennsylvania Faith in Action Awards in the Family and Community Categories.
